Abstract
Early detection of diabetic nephropathy (DN) is a major challenge in trying to reduce chronic kidney burden
diseases in diabetic patients. This study aims to investigate the potential role of early prediction of urinary vitamin D binding
protein (uVDBP) for the diagnosis of DN and for the examination of the possible correlation with serum VDBP, high-sensitivity C-reagent
protein (hs-CRP) and insulin resistance in these patients.
